Where treatment happens, and what that means

Practically that means a domestic flight and, for most people, one night per session. Two to three sessions spaced seven to fourteen days apart therefore means two or three separate trips rather than one. Compressing them into a single visit is possible in theory and a bad idea in practice, because the spacing exists so that pigment can settle before density is judged.
If that is more than you want to take on, it is a legitimate reason to look at options closer to home. This page is not going to pretend the logistics are trivial.
Planning the trips
- First trip — consultation and the first session on the same visit where possible, so one flight covers both.
- The gap — seven to fourteen days at home in Sydney while the pigment settles. Nothing to manage beyond ordinary aftercare.
- Second trip — the second session, judged against the healed result. A third is sometimes needed.
The four-day no-swimming window sits inside the gap rather than at the end of it, so it rarely affects the return flight. Heavy sweating is the constraint worth watching if you fly home the next morning.
Whether it suits you
Travel raises the threshold. It is worth being more certain than someone who can walk in from two suburbs away, because a change of mind is more expensive.

Healing between trips
The scalp is pink for a day or two. Sydney summers make the sun advice more pointed than it is further south: a hat for the first fortnight, and sunscreen once healed, protects the result from the main cause of fading.
What affects cost
The same factors as anywhere — area, sessions, scarring, shaved look or density. Travel and accommodation sit on top of that and are worth budgeting honestly rather than treating as incidental.
